Therapeutic framework and tools

Clinical Health Psychology

As a clinical health psychologist, I value the interaction between mind and body.

I help you to:

  • identify and treat psychosomatic symptoms and the impact of stress and anxiety on health.
  • identify the link between suffering and psychological distress and their effects on overall health.
  • manage the psychological impact of chronic illnesses.
  • adopt positive health behaviours and improve your overall quality of life.

Intercultural Psychology

With an in-depth understanding of cultural dynamics, I provide counselling to help you to:

  • navigate the challenges of adapting to new cultures.
  • understand and address the unique challenges faced by individuals living in multicultural contexts.
  • overcome culture shock and manage intercultural conflicts.

My empathetic and informed approach helps to gain a better understanding of and full support for cultural differences, fostering harmonious and enriching interactions.

Positive psychology

Positive psychology enables me to build a secure framework for a holistic approach in counselling and psychological care which enriches my clinical practice and opens new perspectives for mental health promotion.

Based on positive psychology, I offer you psychological care to:

  • identify and use your strengths to overcome challenges, reinforcing your ability to cope with stressful situations and recover from setbacks.
  • emphasize the development of resilience, i.e. the ability to bounce back from difficult events.
  • prevent relapse of mental disorders, cultivate positive emotions and develop positive coping strategies. Patients are less likely to fall back into negative patterns or dysfunctional behaviours.

Transactional analysis

I use the Transactional Analysis method to:

  • analyse and improve human interactions.
  • understand verbal and non-verbal transactions.
  • improve communication and resolve conflicts through a more constructive approach.

This method is particularly effective for strengthening personal and professional relationships.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a therapeutic approach based on mindfulness and acceptance.

Through this approach, I help you to:

  • accept difficult emotions and thoughts.
  • detach yourself from the grip of these internal experiences and actively engage in actions aligned with your personal values.
  • cope in a healthier way and live a more fulfilling life in the face of difficulties.
