Professional experience
From 2009 to 2010, as a clinical psychologist skilled in intercultural issues, I worked with children in conflict with the law and in child protection at the Institut Thérapeutique, Éducative et Pédagogique (ITEP) du Père Antoine Chevrier in Lyon.
In 2011, I was awarded the prize for peace in Africa by the Grenoble Peace School to organise and lead training workshops for young people aged 16 to 22. The aim of these workshops was to raise awareness of and provide protection against psychological, sexual and gender-based violence, based on mental health first aid.
From 2012 to 2016, I engaged in doctoral studies in psychology on the mental health of uprooted and forcibly displaced peoples in conflict contexts. I accompanied the uprooted Chagossian population, offering a secure framework using psychological tools such as family tree and life narrative.
